A New Thing Ministries International has served the Atlanta metropolitan community for twenty (20) years in counseling, family support, and has received numerous grants, community service awards and recognition from county and state officials. Counseling and Life Coaching services have been offered to hundreds of couples and individuals. Our track record is outstanding—99% of the couples that have completed the Pre-marital Counseling Program are still married (only 2 divorces in 29 years).
A nonprofit 501(c)(3) Parachurch, we are a network of churches and volunteers located in metropolitan Atlanta, Georgia. We are unique in ministry to diverse families, with a special focus on homebound individuals, frail elders, married couples, and their families. By working with the religious communities, we are able to reach and support the fastest growing population in the U.S. (senior citizens) and their families. Our focus areas since 2012 has been single mothers with small children, counseling adults on family issues such as marriage, anger management, parenting, financial stability and assistance with person who are starting a business or nonprofit organization. We offer educational classes in the areas of Biblical Counseling Certification, 501c3 Tax-Exempt Life-Changing Seminars, Nonprofit Workshops: (The ABC’s of Grant Writing, How to Establish an Effective Board of Directors, EZ Steps for starting 501(c)(3) Organizations.

How long have you been in business?
Twenty years in business. Plus seven years as an independent contractor (Pastoral Counseling)
What is your primary product or service?
Counseling, educational classes and Biblical counseling classes, support to single mothers and their children, support to persons developing businesses and nonprofit organizations, referral services to agencies with other services. A Certified Gerontologist is on staff.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
Being a Parachurch ministry is answering a call to ministry to serve others in metropolitan Atlanta. The CEO Pastor is an ordained minister and has numerous certifications in social service fields. She is connected to the Aging Network and is a resource for persons in need of family services.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
We serve persons of all ages and provide caring and sensitive referral services to persons who call our office. In our Premarital Counseling program, there have only been 2 divorces in 20 years. The counseling services are available on SKYPE with individuals and couples who live in far away locations.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
One location. We are not planning to expand at this time.

We are located in the Gresham Park Community. Off I-20 East / West and Gresham Road and off I-285 Bouldercrest Road.

Which areas do you service?
DeKalb County, East Atlanta, and metropolitan Atlanta. We receive call from persons throughout the state of Georgia and other states in the U.S.
Who owns your company or runs daily operations?
The CEO runs the daily operations. Internships are available. Volunteer are welcome.
What are your hours of operation?
Office Hours - Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Counseling sessions are offered by appointment only Tuesday through Friday and some Saturdays. Must call to set appoiintment.

We are patient with our callers and go out of our way to help them receive the services they need.
